It’s time again for my weekly celebration, the time to acknowledge the little things I appreciate and count my blessings. Just remembering those things brings a huge smile on my face and lifts me up.
This new banana bunch from my backyard. My parents still marvel at the wonder of having bananas in the backyard. Seeing their excitement when waiting for them to get ready and their joy when harvesting and eating them is priceless.
This YouTube video. Robin Sharma has a special way of talking about things. In a world in which everybody wants to talk, talk, talk and connect, choose to be alone for a while, and from time to time walk to the woods, reconnect with nature and “smell the smells”. A great inspirational 5-minute video.
A great recipe: Loaded Baked Omelet Muffins – For any time of the year, and why not, for any time of the day, and you can make them ahead for the week. You definitely have to try them.
This beautiful quote
Every time I read this quote it feels like I read it for the first time. It is a valuable reminder of the things I should pay attention to, and every time I get distracted, I like to get back to its wisdom.
This perfume is making me so happy – just a nice surprise from my hubby. It’s a floral fresh fragrance with light notes of citrus, hyacinth and jasmine, perfect for everyday use, never too strong, too sweet or too heavy. My all time favorite! 🙂
There are always things around us that we should be grateful for. We just have to notice them. All these simple, but precious things helped me start this week refreshed, optimistic and with a positive perspective.
What are you grateful for these days?
